The stitches are so pretty. Is this quilting stitches or just fancy stitching on one layer of fabric?

I don't know how to quilt. We used all the fancy stitches our machines had. After that was done, then we went along each row of stitching and just did a running top stitch 1/4" away. The piece was in layers and I think there were four for the last part.

Well done on finishing your project. I really like what I can see.

very nice. I have a book started with all fabric pages about 15 x 15, that I sew other fabrics to, add buttons, make fabric pictures, etc.... I just keep adding to it. Its not really a book yet, I will get to that some day. I want to make button holes and just add large metal rings to keep it together.

Thanks for posting. I really love how you used horizontal lines in your piece. Makes me think I need to start thinking out of the box myself!
