Type of item: Home Decor
For: Men
Style: Traditional, Classic
Materials
Old drapes, and with a tightly woven silk gold backing.
What was your inspiration?
Diana Rupp's sewing studio. I loved making French Seams. It was so fancy and made the pillow ultra luxurious.
What are you most proud of?
Saving the material after cutting it shorter by accident and making an 18x18 pillow rather than a 20x20.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Be very careful with rotary cutters. I've never used one before and it seemed to veer away sideways, cutting into my material! Otherwise, this is a beautiful pattern. The pillow is so handsome in the study with large bookcases surrounding it.
