What materials did you use? Poly rayon blend striped fabric, ribbed knit, needle, thread

Follow up: comments above we're made pre washer and dryer and ribbed band is much more snug now. Pondering pre washing skirt fabric but not the ribbed knit for an even more snug fit...thoughts??

I have always prewashed all my fabric due to the shrinkage factor. I highly suggest you prewash the ribbed

a broader waistband from double fabric and then a bit less wide than the skirt will do. You can wear it up or down

love, love the stripes...looks great! did u meet the stripes on the sides? just bought the course and haven't looke at it yet:-)

I did meet the stripes on the sides. They match up way better than factory made but are still not perfect.

Can you tell me what you did to make it maxi length?

05/29/2014 Flag

I just measured several inches longer and also didn't let it "bell" out as much using a much narrower angle out. I didn't hem it either and it was a poly so it didn't fray much.
