What materials did you use? Left over material strips

This is the String Quilt using up scrap materials that were left over from other projects. I think it turned out pretty good, I made several blocks and have enough for 3 or 4 more string quilts, but the next time I am not going to use the white stripping, I had a time getting this one to quilt correctly because the white strips stretched and I had to undo the back and start all over again, and the white strips were from a Jelly Roll, and I never gave it a thought about stretching. But it finally did turn out okay and I was satisfied with the look after I got it quilted

Isn't it great to be able to use up so many leftover scraps and strips? That's what I love about string quilts. Yours looks wonderful! That's interesting that the white strips were what stretched, as supposedly those would be more on-grain than the bias strips in the blocks. Glad it all worked out.
