Strawberry Patch baby quilt

Is this your project? Can you share instructions or a pattern with the Craftsy community?

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Children

Style: Cute, Romantic, Traditional

Materials

Cotton fabric from Moda.

What was your inspiration?

Most of these fabrics came in a fat-quarter pack from Moda and I really loved teh way the pinks and reds and yellows came together so happily. I wanted to try out the triangles, but ended up making them too small and the drudgery of putting them together inspired me to incorporate other style so blocks.

What are you most proud of?

The way the colors blend so nicely, incorporating text on the sashing and how 90% of the points match. :)

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Make the triangles larger! I started with 2-1/4" equilateral triangles, but if I did it again, I'd use a 3".

This is a very pretty quilt. I could really look at it all day. The colors that you have chosen are perfect, as are your fabric choices. Your workmanship is terrific. Thank you for sharing.
