What was your inspiration?
My neighbor gave me an old strawberry jar; after watching Creative Container Gardening, I thought it would be fun to try succulents in it.
What are you most proud of?
I particularly like the way the hens and chicks cascade.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I started planting by pulling the plants through from the inside, as Katie showed in the course. However, I think I ruined some (can't wait to see if they come back full force) and finally decided to push them through from the outside. It worked much better for me. If I had chosen smaller plants, Katie's method would have been fine.
