What materials did you use? Cheap cotton fabrics from the big-box stores, since this was mostly for practicing techniques.

What are you most proud of? Trying some techniques that felt really new and strange to me!

This was my attempt at trying several techniques from this class, including step-down piecing, deconstructed piecing, and sewing curves without pins (that part didn't go so well . . . I tried sooo hard not to stretch it and to keep it on a straight line, but still ended up with ruffling around the edges.)

The second, more blurry image shows that the blues blend a little better in real life than they appear to in the original flash image.
