What materials did you use? This was made with batik fabric. I used regular foundation paper for this as opposed to using the freezer paper method. This made matching the seams very easy.

What are you most proud of? Best of all the person I made it for really loved it and has it displayed in his home.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just a suggestion. Use foundation or regular paper as opposed to freezer paper for this quilt. This makes matching the seams very easy. Also, I made all of one type of block at once rathers than switching from block one to block two to block three and then back to block one. This was my first paper pieces quilt and I was so thrilled when I completed it.

Very nice. Is it easy to make?

It's not difficult because there are only three different blocks. There is a lot of repetition and if you follow the lines on the foundation patterns carefully you'll be successful!

I'm just finishing the same quilt as a wedding gift for my son. I changed out some of the pieces with a dark pink to create a heart in one corner.
