What advice would you give someone starting this project? The collar is unblocked, so pay no attention to its awkward look. Everyone in my family agrees the sweater is too short. This includes myself, so I will make it longer by an inch or more. Flattering or not, a sweater this short.makes me itch. I'm quite content with the shoulder section, but the upper arms are too tight, the fabric stretches, which looks unflattering and makes my arms appear fat (in my opinion), which they aren't. The short sleeves are funny and something I'd not wear on a regular basis. If I had enough yarn left, I'd make the sleeves longer. Alas, the skein I have left will be needed to make the sweater longer. 05/05/13 ETA: I lengthened the sweater by an inch and I like it a lot better now. Thanks to everyone for your positive comments and suggestions, they were encouraging and helpful. I also think that a different cut of pants or a skirt might be a good idea. I'll be shopping next week and I've got something in mind for this.

I like the sweater length on you, but of course it's no use if you don't feel comfortable with it... good luck with the reworking. :-)

I like the sweater length on you too. Maybe if you try it with a different cut of pants or skirt it will feel more "comfortable".
