My mother sewed together pieces of my granny's red and blue polkadot crazy quilt after she passed and then stitched red embroidery thread around it to reinforce the pieces for a whole year as she stitched she cried. Now I am doing the same with great granny's quilt that is very rough to grieve for my mother. Stitching does save the soul.

I really love your great creation....I plan to make one too...I am a quilt lover and I am in need of soul mending as after being married for 46 years, my husband brings home his girlfriend. What a jolt. That was five years ago and I'm still mending..
