What materials did you use? Two of my husbands old XL %100 cotton T Shirts

What are you most proud of? My daughter thinks its very cool and wants one.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Megs instructions work great for dyeing the cloth. I enjoyed having a project to sit by the fire on these long winter nights The technique is really easy but hunt down your thimble, the button hole thread through the knit can be tough.

I love Alabama style sewing~ What an inspiration! if you don't mind me asking, how long did this project take to finish? I'm considering making a skirt. You did a fantastic job!! love the colors that you chose and your scrap pin!! Excellent!! Thanks for sharing!!

Thanks! I logged some hours in on this but it really goes pretty fast. I think if you did a skirt and just did some work on the bottom it would be beautiful and not take very long.

that is absolutely beautiful. i love it, so chic and really is fabulous with the seams in the front. i like the cut outs as well...that's my kind of creation. i love the little scrap pin. what a perfect embellishment to an already beautiful top...great job. looking forward to seeing more of what you make.
