What was your inspiration?
After the couching was completed, I thought it looked bit like an aerial map of part of NZ. So I tried to develop that idea showing the contours of a lake, river, hills and mountains, sea (shiney buttons) and earthquake fault lines!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just get on with it and have a go. As Carol says - there are no rules.
