This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Stupendous Stitching: Adventures in Surface Design »

Instructions

I have been thinking of doing a book like this for a long time. This class was perfect for really getting it done. In fact I made a book for each of my 3 machines and one as a gift for a friend, who has the same machine as me. I have always used these stitches in different projects but now I don't have to test so many before sewing them out.

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Functional

For: Other

Materials

My own hand dyed cotton fabrics, different threads

What was your inspiration?

Arrrg, I wrote this under instructions before I realized that there were more places to write and now I can't delete it from there. Can you guess that this is my first project post on Craftsy?

What are you most proud of?

That I now have a really nice tool for choosing stitches.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just go for it. It's fun. And be prepared to get some surprises when you try to post your project. It seems that my photos changes places and I don't know how to fix that. Anyway here it is.

I have problems with this site. How do I post a reply to your comment? It seems that I just started a new thread. When I write in the reply field it doesn't seem to go anywhere

Thanks. She is a very good friend, too. She is young, have twins 4 years old and would never get time to make one for herself
