What materials did you use? I used bright fabrics for the pages, and cotton thread for the stitches. I used up a lot of my misc. interfacing for this project, and I've discovered my favorite weight of interfacing in the process.I haven't decided how to bind it yet. Any suggestions? I'd like creative, but I'll probably have to go with practical.

What are you most proud of? I love the bright colors. I love how the edges turned out when I serged the pages together.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take the time to do this. Don't work about it being perfect. If I ran out of thread and had to switch to another color in the middle of a page or row, I just did it. I used an air soluble marker and made lines so my rows stayed straight. I also didn't worry about thread breaks or repeats in a pattern (oops). It's for me. Enjoy the process.

Wow. If you ever trade in your machine, this stitch bible is worth at least $1,000! Nice job!

Thanks for the inspiration! I love all the color. I have started my stitch bible but the color of my bible is bland. As I work on projects when I am deciding on stitching I just try them out in my bible so I am building it as I go.

My stitch bible was bland but then I covered it with the test piece for Stupendous Stitching. That brightened it up a bit.

I am buying this as soon as I get caught up with other $$ things! Know that feeling?

Love the colours. Did you change thread colours for the individual stitches or is it just the edges that are so marvellously colourful?
