Thank you. Yes, once I got started it wasn't so bad, but now I have to make corrections where I copied my scribbled notes incorrectly or forgot to write one down while I was sewing. Already the notes have helped me figure out settings for a few stitches that were not at default settings.

Great idea to add the written notes, thanks.

I have an old Elna with very few stitch options that has begun to give me a serious stare. It is wondering where it's book is. It wants to be useful. I'm shopping for a tiny folding table to work on so I can get started. Snow birding. Not much room here in winter.

By taking this course, will it help me to understand my Pfaff 1471? Will I also learn about the different feet that come with my Pfaff?

This class will encourage you to use all your stitches which in turn will help you learn what the machine can do. If you do not have a machine manual, it would be a very good idea to find one. It will be very helpful in explaining the use of the feet. If you know anyone with a Pfaff try to spend some time sewing along side them or visit while they sew with it. It's much easier to explain while doing. If you live near a dealer sign up for a class or two. Outside of someone in person to help, the manual is your best bet.
