What are you most proud of? I love the color/fabric choices and how they are highlighted depending on the layer slashed away.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? To take time to do this as inspiration comes from playing.

The back of the pillow is the orange batik.

I was wondering if I can post photos of other projects. I am now working on my firebird sitch/slash project and a hand applique/shashiko art quilt. I just came back from Hawaii and learned how to transform a watercolor I painted to fabric at my second retreat on The Big Island. Next week we do a family trip to Alaska so will be slower than I want in getting those done to post but wanted to ask the above question and check into Craftsey before going to Vancouver, BC. I love my Craftsey classes!
