What was your inspiration?
Jenny Doan is always my inspiration! Have always wanted to make an amish quilt and a star quilt and she made it possible to do both with very little stess! Thank you so much Jenny, these are just the beginning and have 10 more already cut out!!!!! Love it, thanks again Craftsy for making these tutorials and wonderful instructors available to all of out here!
What are you most proud of?
That I was even able to make ONE star block, let along I now have the inspiration to complete an entire quilt of stars! ;)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Watch the tutorial with Jenny Doan on Quick Quilting II (I watchd a couple of times) and be accurate with your cutting and your 1/4" seams! Jelly Rolls make your strips pieces much quicker and more accurate to use.
