Wow! The vase really looks reflective!

Really nice.

I like the way you have 'weighted' the point of interest, the vase of flowers, to the left. The surrounding golden hues have enough weight to counterbalance the vase as well as showcase it. The surface treatment is exciting. The vase shows your interest in reflections and transparency and so are more realistic which is also exciting against an abstractly treated background. The only distracting thing for me is the flowers are midway between the treatment of the background and the exactness of the vase. I feel the flowers need more work so they are part of the vase painting, not as abstract as the background. Then the arrangement would pop against the background and I feel would be very arresting for a viewer.

Love it! --Such warm colors. Who is the artist that inspired you?

I agree about your compositional choice as being an interesting one.
