Instructions

Don't bother with the provided template for the mane. I just wrapped my yarn around a long oval hoop, and then used a crochet hook to chain stitch down the middle of the row, I used a large darning needle to stitch it to the back of the head.

I needed a new project, and a friend gave me this pattern

What are you most proud of?

I love the way the unicorn turned out. Every little girl wanted one!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

The pattern calls for velcro to hold the unicorn's horn on. Doesn't work! Just save yourself a headache, and sew it on. I used whit vinyl for the dinosaur's teeth and the unicorn's horn.
