Fox, the back looks just like the front except that it doesn't have the coil at the bottom. I used one piece of 18g round sterling wire about 8" long. Make your bail first by wrapping the wire around a mandrell (I use a narrow pen). Then start coiling your fine wire (I used 26g) around the base wire. Every so often, wrapp the fine wire around half of the donut and then go back to wrapping the base wire. I didn't use a coiler on this. I just coiled it by hand. I've never cared for donut beads either but this one has inspired me to experiment more and see what else I can create!

ohhh, that is so cool looking, and my coiling gizmo just arrived 2 days ago. Any chance you could upload a pix of the back. I am new to wire wrapping, and seeing a pix of the back is always a huge help. Never cared much for donus beads... until I saw this one! Now I love them! great work!
