What was your inspiration?
My youngest grandson loves to play sports and has a great spirit and wonderful smile. I wanted to make him a quilt to match his personality. The red, white and blue fabric with stars and hearts on it is perfect to express how I feel about him - he is a super star to me.
What are you most proud of?
How the white chain jumps out against the red stripe. It looks cute and Stephen will like it. Tickled that I finished it in time for his birthday. He will be 12 on Dec 12, 2012 :-)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take your time, read the directions, cut out the fabric and have fun.
