Instructions
Begin with 2 strands of equal length beadng wire in desired length of necklace, plus a generous amount to finish off. Pass one end of one strand of wire through a closed jump ring, and pull up so that you now have 2 equal-length shorter wire strands and the jump ring at the mid-point . Use a crimp bead and cover to close the loop and anchor the resulting 2 strands of wire at the jump ring. Securely fasten one end of the remaining long wire strand to the same jump ring with 2 crimps and covers. You should now have 3 strands of wire suspended from the same jump ring. Bead all 3 wire strands with (I used mostly leftover) varied beads in random combinations until you reach halfway point of desired necklace length. Of necessity the middle and outer beaded strands will have to be somewhat longer than the innermost. {Notice I used small beads on innermost strand, medium beads on middle srand, and largest beads on outermost strand, but this is purely my own choice.) Step down the 2 shorter beading wires into one bead, then pass all 3 wires strands through focal bead and close off all wires on the other side of the focal bead with 2 crimp beads (without covers), but trim off only the 2 shorter wire strands. Conceal crimps, tails and the remaining long 3rd wire strand by passing all through a single large-holed bead, Continue beading the 3rd wire strand with all one type of bead to finish off 2nd half of necklace length and attach a clasp of your choice. I wear the necklace asymetrically with the focal bead slightly off-center in the front. There's always someone who tries to rearrange the necklace by centering the lapis strand across the back with only the triple strands showing in front. :)
