What was your inspiration?
I had just bought a book called 'Making Quilts...the promise of joy' by Kathy Doughty and wanted to make every quilt, so I started with this one. ( It's called 'Pheasantville' in the book)
I have called mine 'State of Mind' as the cog wheel blocks seemed to spin and that is just what my mind was doing, as I had just found out I am going to be a Grandmother for the first time!
What are you most proud of?
I like the colour balance.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have lots of patience, this is a big quilt!
