What materials did you use? 100% cottons from my stash

What are you most proud of? I keep adding to this quilt so one day it may be a full sized quilt--all from scrap pieces a non-sewer might just "toss out" (Heaven forbid!!) I have pinned the squares together and add squares as I finish another one and have it hanging on the door to the FL room. My daughter came by and said, "That's great, now quilt it for me." (These 26-year olds!)

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Watch Amy Gibson's October Block of the Month session and have fun with it.Better yet, enroll in Amy gibson's BOM 2012 class.Even veteran quilters can gather new techniques. And it's fun to share.
