Instructions
Practice quilting freehand before you make this, quilting it was the hardest part because the designer has you sew it into a tube shape first. I am very happy with the results but plan to redesign it next time I make it so that the quilting part is easier.Difficulty:
Category: Quilting
Type of item: Functional
For: Home
Style: Cute
Materials
Fabric, thread, interfacing, batting, basting spray, cutting and sewing tools
What was your inspiration?
I wanted a functional but attractive container that would compliment any room in the house. I also wanted to make something that would provide me with an opportunity to practice my free motion quilting.
What are you most proud of?
The free hand quilting I did and the combination of colors I used to make this project.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make another project that requires free motion quilting before tackling this one because you have to quilt around a tube shape and it is tricky!
