This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Stupendous Stitching: Adventures in Surface Design »

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Other

Style: Funky

Materials

Fabric, ribbon, ric rac, lots of things!

What was your inspiration?

I LOVE thread, batik fabrics, couching things onto my fabric and wanted to use my stitches which inevitably never get used through normal quilting so this was a fabulous way for me to start and I LOVE IT!!

What are you most proud of?

That I can show my friends and newer quilters this technique

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Make sure you learn about your machine and have patience it takes time to learn to play with you machine and the stitches, most of all HAVE FUN! and remember - there are no mistakes!!

Thank you! I'm already thinking about the next one lol. I was so anxious to start playing that I was sewing while I had your video playing. Now that I see how it's finished I have lots to add and another project in my head.
