lace-stars and angel
Cut loose, cut wonky and create a work of art with Judith Trager.
What materials did you use?
I used cotton fabrics.
What are you most proud of?
I think, this time I didn't make a mistake. :-)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Suzanne, You never disappoint with your projects....absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for showing. Your framing technique is the finishing touch in all ways.
Thank you for your comment, holthanlon. :-) If you want to see, how I did the framing, please look here:http://www.berninablog.com/2013/01/gemogelte-briefecken/ It is very simple and looks good, I think.
This is gorgeous. So elegant.
Thank you for your comment, Denise S. :-)
Beautiful samples! But please help me understand how this relates to the course "Beyond Log Cabins"?
Thank you. :-) The course "Beyond Log Cabins" inspired me to put lace motifs on art quilt background. There is no "Log Cabin", that's right, but the idea to do this, I got in that course.
OMG! Your work is SO inspiring!!! Great binding pics! Is your angel machine emboidered? Directly onto the hanging? Too lovely for words.
The angel is machine embroidered. The design was created from Cornelia Dobner. http://www.cd-creativedesign.com/ I sewed the lace angel onto the quilt.
