What was your inspiration?
This piece just started out as playing with silver to see what shapes I ended up with. As the basic design came together, the onyx drusy just fit the piece. I felt that the viking knit was the perfect complement to the design.
What are you most proud of?
I love the overall look of this piece.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
For the pendant, just have fun bending the wire. For the viking knit, take your time and make sure that your weaving is as close to even as possible (although pulling it will hide minor mistakes).
