What was your inspiration?

Peggy's class! For the free-motion quilting I picked out bits from several different free-motion quilting classes I've taken on Craftsy. My father has a beautiful wooden table in his dining room and I though this runner would be perfect for it.

What are you most proud of?

Completing the runner - I was getting tired of quilting in purple for a while. (And this is only a table runner, what will I do for a bed-sized quilt?!) I like the different designs I chose for the quilting and how the quilting brings out the star design.

Love your colors! I'm thinking about trying to make a Spring hearth banner using the stars. Thanks.for sharing your beautiful project.

Thanks very much! This was my first project where I tried to make the piecing and quilting work together. Although it's far from perfect, I'm really pleased.

I really love how you have quilted your Sailor's Delight table runner! Beautiful fabrics, too. That will make a wonderful gift for your father - he's going to love it!

Thank you! I'm really happy with how it came out. Thanks for the great design for both the star and the runner, and for explaining everything so well so that it all came together nicely!
