What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take it S L O W!!! Make sure the star portions in the center and on the corners are all the same dimensions when you cut them in half!!!

Your spin on the star is beautiful. You are a very talented quilter. I love the vibrant colors you chose. After this amount of time how are the colors holding up? 2015-05-27. You had lots of comments on your quilt... I'll just bet that you inspired some free-thinking on quilting.. I've forwarded the web page to my friend, she's an avid quilter while I'm a baby quilter..

Thank you for your kind words. I actually got my inspiration from an Amish website that had the beautiful bright colors. I love this quilt, although it almost put me in the funny farm before I got it all figured out ;). We have it on our bed and it is holding up very well...though I haven't washed it yet.

Star Spin kit was donated to our Center. A am attempting to complete it for fundraiser. $ large stars: dark greens, mediums green, dark reds, med-light pink/reds. Am ready to cut; don't know what color sequence to put them. Help?
