What are you most proud of? Trickiest part was quilting the Star rectangle onto the humongous king sheet! I am most proud that I made it. Duvue covers are outrageously expensive.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you are FMQ be sure you use regular batting & not muslin between the top & the sheet. I had to straight stitch with my walking foot because the darning foot was too high. What a slow, pain in the neck. Lol

It turned out super!

Thank you! I didn't plan to do that but I was making myself a Duvue cover out of 2 king flat sheets and thought those stars would look ssssssooooo nice on my bed. Then the LeMoyne Star came up. What a combo! Now to make that wonderful Mariners Compass! Think that will be hung in my husband's office. He's been in the marine business his whole life. It will be perfect! Thanks again for all the explicit instruction. :-)
