Star In A Star- Aug BOM

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Craftsy Block of the Month 2012 »

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Home

Style: Classic, Retro / Vintage, Traditional

Materials

Lovely by Sandy Gervais fat quarter bundle

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Amy is not kidding when she said there is very little to trim on this block. My second photo shows my excess. Remember to keep your seams SCANT or your block will come out too small.

Yes, sometimes mine come out upside down or elongated. I'm sure it's pilot error, but as long as it gets there & it's clear, I'll have to go with that ! :-)

I wonder why my block photograph wavy and uneven around the edges? They are not really like that. Does anyone else have that problem?
