What was your source for this quilting project? Improvisational


What materials did you use? 100% quilter's cotton and batiks


This is a test sew for a quilt of valor I intend to make and decided to test before putting scissors to valor fabric. It's made from my stash so I didn't buy a thing (except the longarm back in March). Thanks, Angela, for teaching me how to do feathers and thanks so much for the hug at the quilt market in Houston! You rock!

That is awesome!! The way you placed the different quilting patterns just kept my eye looking for more!! The 3D pinwheel in the center is the crowning glory, give yourself a pat on the back!

Thanks. I'm now using this idea on a Valor Quilt in progress. It needs to be bigger so this quilt will change up and expand. I'm enjoying the process.
