What was your inspiration?
The inspiration came from stalactites and stalagmites - the amazing rock formations growing from cave ceilings dripping down and collecting on the ground. The stalactites on the mittens end it a drop on the back of the hand.
What are you most proud of?
I particularly like how the cables come together in the drop. Twisted bavarian cables look so delicate, and they worked really well with this yarn.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Pick a solid or semi-solid yarn - too highly variegated colours will obscure the cable pattern.
