What was your inspiration?

Hubby and I were walking through an antiques store admiring stained glass pieces - and NOT admiring the prices! We thought "we could learn to make that" so we signed up for a class at a local glass shop. It was a great experience and we learned a lot, but it turned out not to be "our thing". Still great quality time and lots of fun :)

What are you most proud of?

All the new techniques I learned and that it actually turned out as something :)

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Stained glass is very time consuming and very expensive. Oh, and you'll get lots of cuts :)

I want to learn to do stained glass so much. Our house had so many large peices of stained glass when we were looking at it--but of course they disappeared when the owners moved. I've learned that there used to be classes given in town, but not now. Your peice is really pretty
