What advice would you give someone starting this project? I tried aluminum that does not work lol stick to the copper when starting out for practice then move to other metals that cost more like silver something to do and be good for Christmas presents :))

wonderful. ! I have made silver stack rings but have never tried to solder any other metals. Your rings are so lovely you have inspired me. I 'll give it a try

I test the soldering out on copper first i than moved to silver cuz the copper was cheaper.. i use a black sharpie on them when im done with the hammering to bring out the patterns and sand after that to bring out the mental. it inhances the paterns.

What solder did you use. I tried to make the stack rings. I solder with easy solder paste. When I stratred to hammer the rings and size them the solder came apart. Don't known what I am doing wrong?
