Instructions

This was a joint project with a friend. We shared the sewing duties after figuring out the templates we wanted to use.

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Charity

Style: Religious, Mod

Materials

Cotton fabrics and thread, polyester batting.

What was your inspiration?

The inspiration for these quilts was the stained glass windows at St. Philip's Lutheran Church in Fridley, MN. I made a template for creating the blocks.

What are you most proud of?

Hearing members of the church exclaim that the quilts look just like the windows in the sanctuary.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Keep the angles the same so your edges line up pretty well prior to trimming. Uneven angles will create a very crooked strip.
