Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
The Costume Box: Dress-Up for Holiday and Every Day »

Instructions

Just followed Anne's great tuition.

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Costume

For: Children

Style: Traditional, Religious, Cute

Materials

Suedette and satin type lining 2 meters of each. Plus a brocade (curtain draw back) trim.

What was your inspiration?

My 4 year old's class is in the Blarney St. Patrick's Day Parade and the needed a St. Patrick:)

What are you most proud of?

Getting it done in an evening.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just go for it, this was my first attempt! Well at the lined hooded cape, I made a non-hooded, non-lined cape the day before - which I think gave me the confidence to go for it. Took an evening without the kids to make (about 3-4 hours), which I was delighted with.
