What was your inspiration?

This is for a secret swap so I took inspiration from my partner's likes .

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I used a cardboard cut out which was fine for the first one but if I was making more of them ie for a quilt top I would buy the ruler !

Thanks, I have always been a bit scared of this block it was much easier than I thought although I haven't appliqued it yet ! I'm up for the curved piecing actually, I did a trial run and will ba making a block shortly !
