Yes, the sweater will be made to match with the addition of the oak leaves and acorns on the sweater. No room on the hat!! Thanks for the nice compliment.

Try as I might, when I cast on the stitches for my sweater, they ended up being twisted. 240 stitches down the drain! I ripped it all out (not quite 2 inches of knitting), recast and even called my son to come look to make sure nothing was twisted! Now, I'm on my way. And learning to knit without looking, to boot! I love learning new things.
