OMG! I lost count of how many rows I had to tear out. it is very easy to get lost.

crochetwizard, I'm working on a double-knit blanket and find it easier, for me, to cross off what I've completed. The pattern was a chart, but I typed it out...took some time but helped me immensely. I'm using markers and count-check each section before going on. Just to make it more interesting, I'm using a regular-weight yarn and a fuzzy yarn. Makes corrections a nightmare but, then again, hides imperfections. LOL Believe me, I was laughing 'with you' when I read your comment under 'What advice would you give...'. The doily is beautiful.

thank you, but the pattern was written badly. had to guess what came next. it was a nightmare.
