What are you most proud of? how the free-motion quilting lent itself to the pattern

What advice would you give someone starting this project? use the 8-half square triangle per square method to cut the HSTs, so you don't have bias edges to sew together.

I was so taken up by the chevron pattern, I managed to squeeze the entire quilt out of five fat quarters and the background fabric. Don't have a scrap left! The leftover pieces went on the back. After I pieced the top, all this negative space was calling out for free-motion patterns. Nine different patterns on each chevron, one on the border, and yet another on the triangles on the top and bottom edges! I just had a lot of fun with this quilt.
