What was your inspiration?
I purchased a book entitled "Beaded Colorways" by Beverly Ash Gilbert a couple of years back. I love her work for it is highly imaginative, unique, and beautiful. I wanted to create a wire crochet piece in which the colors "travel" from one to the next. If you want some eye candy and a wealth of ideas, purchase her book. It includes color wheels and an in-depth study of how colors can be combined for maximum impact. I find her work to be magnificent.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Play with color.
