Spring Tulips Wall Hanging

Is this your project? Can you share instructions or a pattern with the Craftsy community?

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Romantic, Classic, Traditional

Materials

Watercolor variegated cottons in spring tones. I loved the batik border fabric.

What was your inspiration?

My favorite flowers! I have to quilt them because the deer eat all of them in our yard!

What are you most proud of?

This one has many non-standard edges and was my first art-style quilt project.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Use high-quality fabric as it makes the cutting and edging easier.

The class for this project was offered by a quilting guild. The process is called Freezer Paper Machine Applique and was taught by Nancy Davis-Murty. I would think there are books for the process but she handed out written instructions for this project.
