(1) Skein of Red Heart Stitch Nation Washable Ewe in Lilac colorway

What was your inspiration?

I needed to review Red Heart Yarn's new Stitch Nation Washable Ewe Yarn and I only had 1 skein (183 yds). So I wanted to do something with the yarn that could showcase the yarn (and wasn't a scarf) in a way that consumers of discount yarns don't typically see worsted wt - LACE.

What are you most proud of?

I think it turned out great!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

A couple of things:
1.) This is a great beginner lace project because it's not complicated and works up quickly! BUT, if you're a knitting newbie, the pattern leaves a lot to be desired. For instance, the designer tells you where to place the markers, but not where to slip the markers.
2.) Chart B - the marker pattern is basically this: k2, sm, lace instructions, k1 (which is the center stitch), sm, lace instructions, sm, k2
3.) Chart C - you can nix the markers here.
4.) Extra repeats of Chart B will make your neckwarmer longer side to side (across the top). Extra repeats of Chart C will make your neckwarmer longer top to bottom. Adding extra repeats won't affect any of the knitting instructions at all.

thank you for the helpful comments, your project is beautiful. I live in the UK (N.I) did you use a double weight yarn?
