What was your inspiration?
I love birds and when I saw this cozy flannel fabric, I just knew I had to make a baby quilt. The pattern is of my own design. I kept it simple by keeping the fabric in panels to show off the sweet little birds!
What are you most proud of?
This was my 3rd time quilting my own project (free-motion style). I am impressed with how well the daisy chains and leaves turned out.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be afraid to try your hand at free-motion quilting... it's actually kind of addicting!
