What was your inspiration?
My son and his fiancee are planning a big church wedding in Mexico in June, and needed a ceremony here in the U.S. to staisfy legal requirements, so we had a small wedding celebration, and I got to make the cake! The frosting is a product called Flavor-rite, available from cake specialty stores. It comes frozen in 1 quart containers, you simply thaw it and whip it up. It is non-dairy, and has a delicate lightly sweet whipped cream taste....yummy! The cake stand has been in my family for a long time, in fact, my parent's wedding cake was served from this very cake stand.
What are you most proud of?
that I got done with just a couple of days' notice!
