What was your inspiration?
All I could find in a garden flag was the flimsy nylon ones. I was looking for a flag with my initial that would be heavy enough to not blow upside down in the wind and one that I could choose my own colors. When I couldn't find it, I decided to create it myself.
What are you most proud of?
That I created something that fills a need and is better than the original inspiration.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Use high quality fabric that resists fading in the sun.
