I designed this floral iris pattern on graph paper and then used square stitch to make the bracelet using delica beads. The width of the bracelet was determined by the length of the bar clasp so that I could have a nice clean closure. Irises in Spring.
What are you most proud of?
The combination of materials and the embellishing with pearls on the square stitch.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Learn square stitch and try working from a graph pattern that you design yourself. Be aware of your findings to finish the bracelet from the start as this might dictate the width of the bracelet.
