What are you most proud of? I invented my own piecing technique using a tear-away foundation and even though this quilt is made up of a gazzillion squares, my rows are straight. Lol, I can't tell you how many times I've read the judge's comments "Straight rows need to be straight". Now they are

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Start with simpler projects before you start a larger quilt like this. Collect landscape fabrics when ever you can - even quarter yard pieces can be great to build your fabric collection.

I've written 2 books, the first is Watercolor Landscape Quilts (these are quilts made with squares) and Lovely Landscape Quilts (these are quilts made with strips). Watercolor is out of print but "other' sellers on amazon have it available for pretty cheap. Lovely Landscapes won't be out until the 2nd week in December.
